Classic Blue is described as a timeless color that brings elegance and simplicity when used and we couldn’t agree more. We love blue tones at Eastwood not only because it is part of our core colors in our logo and branding but because it brings a feeling of peace and calmness.
Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of The Pantone Color Institute says, “We are living in a time that requires trust and faith. It is this kind of constancy and confidence that is expressed by PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue, a solid and dependable blue hue we can always rely on. Imbued with a deep romance, Classic Blue provides an anchoring foundation. A boundless blue evocative of the vast and infinite evening sky, Classic Blue encourages us to look beyond the obvious to expand our thinking; challenging us to think more deeply, increase our perspective and open the flow of communication.”
We think Classic Blue will look great throughout a home so here are a few ideas of how you can use Pantone, Inc.'s 2020 color of the year!
Give any room a facelift with a Classic Blue accent wall. You can do this in a living room, a bedroom, or even an office! Making that one wall pop will really bring the space to life without having to do too much decorating!
If you have built-ins or any bookshelves in your home, we love the idea of painting these pieces a bold color to really make them stand out and give the room some character. Classic Blue would be a perfect choice for this because as we said it is truly a timeless color!
Feeling bold? Take a bit of a risk and go Classic Blue in your kitchen! These cabinets are some of the most beautiful and unique we’ve seen and we love them. Your guests will leave thinking they should paint their cabinets too.
Overall Pantone’s color of the year is a winner in our book! What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments below!
When we think of design-inspired rooms, we most often think of living rooms and bedrooms with color-coordinating throw pillows and eye-pleasing wall art. We don’t usually think about baseball bats on the wall, or used tires doubling as a coffee table. Wrenches certainly never play into a design scheme.
We have leased a new 4,000-square-foot office facility for our Greensboro Area Division Office that will house new offices and a new Design Center, allowing us to better serve our customers.
We have a common theme among our employees: long tenure here at Eastwood Homes! It's something we've always known, but when we did the math and realized just how many of our team members have been around for several years, even we were impressed. So, we thought we'd ask them why. Their responses are as unique, and awesome, as each of them.
