"My dad always had a big vegetable garden to our family of 6. Mother always had varied ways of preparing the home grown vegetables. Here is the recipe for tomato pie that she would make for us."
1 (9 inch) pie shell, partially baked
1/2 cup mayonnaise
3 firm tomatoes
1/4 tsp basil
1 cup cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped chives
Bake pie shell at 350 for 10 minutes.
Slice peeled tomatoes in pie shell. Add cheese. Seal with mayonnaise.
Sprinkle basil and chives over mayonnaise.
Bake 350 for 35 minutes.
"You can also prepare everything the night before, cover with plastic wrap and keep in the refrigerator until ready to bake the next morning. (This is our tradition.)"
1 can crescent rolls
1 pound mild breakfast sausage
6 eggs
2 cups shredded cheese
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Take a 9×13 pan and generously coat with nonstick cooking spray
Roll out the crescent rolls in the bottom of the pan and press seams together.
Top with an even layer of browned and drained sausage.
Then pour in six beaten eggs.
Top with shredded cheese and bake (uncovered) at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.

2 cups course cracker crumbs
½ cup butter or margarine
¾ cup light cream
¼ cup oyster liquid
¼ teaspoon Worschestershire sauce
½ teaspoon salt

32oz Frozen shuddered hash browns
½ cup melted butter
1 10 ¼ ounce can of cream of chicken soup (or cream of cheddar)
1 pint of sour cream
½ cp onion finely chopped
2 cups grated Colby cheese
¼ teaspoon pepper
