We are so excited to share that we have raised a record-breaking donation for Levine Children’s Hospital through our Eastwood Classic golf outing!
Drum roll, please. This past week, we presented the children’s hospital with a check for $105,000! That’s nearly a 30 percent jump over the previous year and a $24,000 increase!
We had the honor of visiting the hospital this week to hand over the check to the hospital staff. Just like everything else at Levine, even a check presentation is extra special! Our team had a chance to DJ at Seacrest Studios for the kids being treated at the hospital, and we even got to dance for them in front of a green screen!
If you aren’t familiar with Seacrest Studios, it is a 652-square-foot studio that not only sends out the latest music for the kids but also provides games and entertainment for them! Since the opening of the studio, patients have been entertained with interviews by Selena Gomez, Imagine Dragons, Michael Buble, and Carolina Panthers quarterback, Cam Newton! And now, the team at Eastwood Homes, haha!
Can you tell that we love all the good and necessary services that Levine Children’s Hospital provides our region? Many of our team members have relied on the doctors and nurses at the hospital for their own children. We hold the hospital and its team close to our hearts!
We truly couldn’t have provided this donation without the support of our community and vendor partners through their sponsorships and team commitments. Since our first charity golf outing in 2013, we have raised $484,000 for the children’s hospital, just by playing golf!
The Eastwood Classic is just one part of our philanthropic partnership with Levine, which dates back to 2008. Did you know that we also donate a portion of every home sold in the Charlotte market to the hospital? And, we donate $500 to the hospital for every home sold to an employee of Levine Children’s Hospital. We also support the hospital through our Eastwood Homes hospitality cart, which supplies the children and their families with basic necessities during their stay at Levine. We also have helped fund the opening and growth of Seacrest Studios at the hospital.
