CHARLOTTE, NC – December 1, 2015 Charlotte-based new home builder, Eastwood Homes hosted its 3rd annual Charity Golf Outing on Monday, September 29th at Raintree Country Club in Charlotte, NC. Thanks to the support of many sponsors and teams, Eastwood Homes raised approximately $58,000 for the Levine Children’s Hospital.
Twenty-nine teams joined Eastwood Homes for the event. Players enjoyed a catered lunch provided by Chick-Fil-A, and hole contests including Hole-In-One Car Giveaways sponsored by Keffer Hyundai and Hendricks Automotive. Participants also received complimentary drinks and snacks, gift bags, award packages, and a buffet dinner catered by Best Impressions Catering and sponsored by Keller Williams Ballantyne. Trophies and signage for the event were supplied by Graphical Creations.
Platinum sponsors for the event included a joint sponsorship with Builders First Source and Weyerhaeuser, and individual platinum sponsorship by Stock Building Supply. Gold Sponsors included Moen and Certainteed. Movement Mortgage, Colonial Materials, Regions Bank, and Osborne Brothers Electric provided support as a Silver Sponsors. Countless other supporters contributed to the fund-raising efforts of Eastwood Homes.
Eastwood Homes Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Bryan DeGabrielle, commented, “Thanks to our sponsors, we have been able to raise more than $150,000 for the Levine Children’s Hospital during the last three golf outings. We feel very fortunate that our supporters were able to join us for the tournament. We value the relationships with our vendor partners, and we appreciate their cooperation in our fund raising efforts.”
During a visit to Levine Children’s Hospital on Tuesday, November 24th, Eastwood Homes presented the donation for this year’s $58,000 to Levine during Kiss95.1’s Secret Santa day. The annual Secret Santa telethon is a fundraising event focused on bringing joy to families spending their holidays in the hospital. The team at Eastwood Homes joined Maney, Roy, and Lauren from the Kiss95.1 Morning Show, who were broadcasting live from Seacrest Studios inside the hospital, to hear stories from families, employees, and volunteers of Levine.
