Here at Eastwood Homes, we normally unveil beautifully designed homes for our homebuyers. We get excited alongside them as we watch their visions come to life during the construction of their homes.
In Richmond, we recently had the opportunity to do that for ourselves.
Our new Design Studio for the Richmond market was revealed in mid-February, and it was just as exciting for us as when we welcome a homebuyer into their newly finished home for the first time. Are you as excited as we are? Take a virtual tour here or a photo tour here.
“I’ve had so much fun designing a new space from scratch and managing the construction these last six months,“ our Richmond Design Studio Manager Beverly Willis said. “I was able to design and build it from scratch.”
New home builders are constantly being tasked with staying on trend with the latest in design, whether that’s architectural options or finishing touches like pot fillers and tile choices. Our team of designers attend events like the International Builders Show held by the National Association of Homebuilders to stay on top of the latest in design and technology. For that reason, our design studios regularly receive refreshes and updates.
This was more than our usual refresh, though. This was an entirely new, expanded design studio.
“We wanted our homeowners to see the variety of possibilities they have when personalizing their home with Eastwood Homes,” Willis said. “Our new Design Studio allows our homeowners to see, touch, feel, and experience the latest and greatest trends in a series of kitchen and bathroom vignettes, all while meeting their lifestyle needs and investment ranges.”
Just like our homebuyers, our designers have their favorite trends, too.
“I’m most excited to hear and see the response of the earthy wood tone shiplap cabinet hood,” Willis said. “It’s a great statement piece for any kitchen and can be personalized in any cabinet finish.”
The new design studio has been a hit with the entire Richmond team.
Richmond Director of Sales Amy Druhot was very proud of the vision that Willis put together for their new Design Studio.
“Not only does she deliver the best design experience in our industry but she single handed put together a beautiful space to do it in,” Druhot said.
