We don’t know about you, but we’re excited that it's Finally Fall! Depending on where you live, the weather may still be a little warm, but that shouldn’t stop you from getting into the fall spirit. Fall is for football, comfort food, outdoor activities, and so much more! We love decorating our homes for fall with cozy colors and smells; we thought we should share some of our favorite ideas with you!
Quick Centerpiece: The dining room is a fall staple, especially around Thanksgiving. Why not spruce up your table with a quick DIY centerpiece that will look great all the way through turkey day? Check out a nearby Michaels or Hobby Lobby and create the perfect centerpiece for your dining room style.
Decorative Pumpkins: Okay, pumpkins are a fall staple, but we love the idea of sprucing up your style with a decorative pumpkin. Instead of the traditional orange, choose a white or black pumpkin for your doorstep or inside your home. If you love DIY projects, then we suggest you personalize your pumpkin with a monogram, glitter, or with your favorite fall saying! (Look at these pumpkins we found on Etsy!)
We also love the look of piling pumpkins at the front door. How welcoming does this look?
Copper is the Color: Want to add metallic color to your décor? Copper is perfect for the fall and really adds a designer touch to your space.
Freshen up the Mantle: Change up your mantle with fall décor and warm up next to the fireplace once the weather cools down.
Bring out the Blankets: If you don’t have a throw blanket on your couch, now is the time to bring them out. Plaid is the go-to fall pattern but nothing says fall more than a warm blanket on a couch!
Spice up Your Scents: Change out your typical candle and air fresheners to a warm scent to truly embrace the fall spirit. Bath and Body Works has the best scents, including Sweater Weather, Flannel Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, Thankful, and more! Plus, they have a new rewards program which is great for when you want to change out the scents in your home!
Seasonal Plants to Maximize Your Curb Appeal: If you have a green thumb, then you’re probably already thinking about how to fill your flower boxes and gardens with flowers and plants that’ll last through the fall weather. HGTV has a whole list and we encourage you to check it out! We are loving all the colors of the garden mums and pansies!
Now, these are only a few tips on how you can decorate your Eastwood home for fall and we’d like to hear from you! What is your favorite fall décor tip? Do you have a favorite go-to?
